About Vettes 4 Vets Texas
Vettes 4 Vets Texas is a community of car enthusiasts, veteran supporters, and local partners united by a shared mission to honor and give back to those who have served our country. Through an annual car show and ongoing fundraising efforts, the organization selects a deserving veteran and provides critical home repairs at no cost, restoring safety, dignity, and stability where it is needed most. These projects address repairs that veterans and their families cannot afford on their own and are made possible through generous donations, volunteers, vendors, and businesses who step forward to help. Each project not only transforms a veteran’s home, but also brings the community together in a powerful show of gratitude, service, and support for those who put their lives on the line for our freedom.
We believe in honoring and giving back to those who have served our country, restoring safety, dignity, and stability where it is needed most.
Our Mission
Our mission is to honor and give back to deserving veterans by providing critical home repairs at no cost, restoring safety, dignity, and stability where it is needed most.
Our Vision
Our vision is to create a community united by a shared mission to support, honor, and give back to those who have served our country.
Our Story
It started with a simple idea rooted in gratitude. In Smith County, Texas, a group of car enthusiasts and veteran supporters came together with one shared purpose: to honor the men and women who have served our country and give back in a meaningful way. Founded in 2024 by Benjamin and Jerretta Pate, Vettes 4 Vets Texas was built on the same values found both in the military and in the car community. Respect, pride, and service. What began as a local effort quickly grew into a united community of people who share a passion for supporting veterans and standing beside them in practical ways.
At the heart of Vettes 4 Vets is a moment that defines everything it stands for. The “knock on the door.” Each year, a deserving veteran family is surprised with the news that their home will receive life-changing improvements at no cost to them. These renovations often begin with a new roof and may include additional interior and exterior repairs, all made possible through the generosity of donors, volunteers, and community partners. For families who have given so much in service to our country and now face unexpected hardships, this moment restores hope, dignity, and stability when it is needed most.
With strong roots in Lindale and Smith County, the organization continues to grow through the support of its local community. Through car shows, fundraising efforts, vendor partnerships, and generous donations, Vettes 4 Vets brings people together for a purpose greater than any single event. Many members are veterans themselves, creating a bond that runs deep and strengthening the mission behind every project completed.
Today, Vettes 4 Vets Texas continues to expand its reach and its impact. Its growing community stretches across Texas and beyond, connecting car enthusiasts, veterans, and supporters who want to be part of something meaningful. As the organization moves forward, the focus remains clear: restore homes, rebuild hope, and give back to those who have served. One family at a time.
